A Story Still Being Written The marriage had brought something out from John that he thought he had lost. John had an epiphany and realized that he had been instilling the same resentment he once had for Dad into Mary for Yennefer. John decided to suck up his pride and have conversations with both Yennefer and Norman because Mary had a deep need of speaking to her mother; Jordan felt as though he had prevented Mary from reconnecting with Yennefer. These conversations seemed to alleviate some of the pain that had been caused from the situation that made Mary feel as though she needed to escape. John had a long conversation with Mary, he went over how he will always be there to support her and how he felt like she really needed her mother in her life. Mary agreed and they both made a plan to start slowly repairing the bridges that had been crumbled by the actions that had been done. John was working in a small town hardware store that was really stup as a retail/convenience store that sells a lot of hardware, we will call it No-Lies Hardware. John worked at this store for five months before meeting his love, Mary. The big catch here was that Mary’s step-father, Norman was also an employee of this hardware store. John became quick friends with Norman since they both had many things in common, personality-wise. John would go on his lunch breaks and bring Norman back anything requested and if nothing was requested just a drink. This friendship began to blossom and personal things were shared between the two, marriage problems on Norman’s side and the haunting past of John. In order to really understand the situation we need to understand the past that has haunted John. John moved out of his family’s home fairly soon after he graduated high-school. John had received a job offer from a big-box retail store and was making good money with little to no bills to pay an

John's story started like many others… John was born of an accidental pregnancy in Eastern Kentucky. At first his parents were afraid, they were not ready to be parents and of course John was their first child. John's Dad was a mechanic and found his work in the coal fields working on the large equipment that was used to strip mountains down to harvest the coal. John's Mom was still trying to decide what to do with life, she found work in hospitals as front staff receptionist and the sort. When John was born a lot of his time was spent with his grandmother and grandfather, Anna and Danny.  John's parents were very busy trying to make money to provide for John so he spent a lot of his childhood being babysitted. John soon began to form an attachment to his grandparents, especially Danny. Unfortunately, this is where our story begins to turn. Danny had discovered he had cancer, at first it was not terminal.
